Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN)Specialty: Emergency Room (ER)Location: Saginaw, MI 48604Shift: 12-hour Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 36-hour guaranteeDuration: 13 weeksJob Description:The Emergency Room RN is responsible for providing critical care to patients in the ER, ensuring swift and accurate assessments, interventions, and care during high-stress situations. The RN will work closely with physicians and other healthcare providers to stabilize patients and manage a wide range of medical emergencies.Responsibilities:Quickly assess patients' conditions upon arrival, identifying the severity of illness or injury to prioritize treatment.Provide care for patients experiencing medical emergencies such as trauma, cardiac events, respiratory distress, and other life-threatening situations.Safely administer medications, IV fluids, and emergency treatments in accordance with physician orders.Continuously monitor patients for changes in condition and respond rapidly to critical situations.Work in coordination with physicians, specialists, and support staff to provide comprehensive care.Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care, treatments, and outcomes in the facility's electronic medical record (EMR) system.Provide clear and compassionate communication with patients and their families regarding treatments, procedures, and care plans.Requirements:Experience:2+ years of Emergency Room nursing experience (required).Experience handling high-acuity patients and working in a fast-paced environment (preferred).Certifications:BLS (Basic Life Support) (required).ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) (required).PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) (preferred).TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) (preferred).Licensure:Michigan RN License or Compact License (required).
