You will also monitor the existing Inventory processes by analyzing transactions to identify and resolve inventory variances in a timely manner. Additionally, you will identify trends and areas for improvement to enhance inventory management efficiency. In the execution of your duties, you shall be called upon to do routine inventory spot checks and audits, record inventory transactions and create reports for management. The individual will actively participate in the ongoing development, implementation, maintenance and application of the Company's accounting practices, procedures and standards. This role requires strong interpersonal, presentation, and analytical skills to effectively communicate findings and recommendations.Position Responsibilities Processing daily inventory transactions in the system. Monitor inventory movements in the ERP system (GP), track orders, define and investigate problems. Monitor daily Inventory movements (Sales Pad, Inventory Movements, MRO & Manual). Stock count analysis and reporting as necessary. Report on the Count frequency and adjustments values. Assist with month end closing activities including journal entries, financial analysis, account reconciliations and preparation of supporting schedules. Collaborate with operations team to influence the development and implementation of procedures and processes designed to innovate and improve the overall effectiveness of inventory control and inventory management. Generate and analyze inventory reports to identify trends and areas for improvement. Conduct process and data audits to ensure control effectiveness and find efficiencies. Weekly Inventory account reconciliation (system to physical). Supports process improvements by identifying and reporting the risk of errors within the inventory control system. Collaborate with operations team to ensure data integrity and accuracy when recording inventory transactions. Monitor the inventory management system to find the root cause of problems and identify appropriate solutions. Support conducting Cycle Counting, quarterly field bank audits, annual Physical Inventory. Monitor slow-moving inventory to minimize obsolescence and maximize profitability. Process journal entries and work order cost transfers related to inventory transactions. Support the accounting team during financial statement audits by preparing necessary documentation and facilitating access to financial records for external auditors. Perform special projects and other tasks as assigned by the Division Controller, Operations.Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, finance, or other similar business degree. 2-3 years of accounting, finance or related experience, using financial and operational tools and systems (MRP, ERP). Proven experience as an Inventory Analyst or in a similar role. Basic understanding of financial and accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial management software, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Excel. Skilled in managing and analyzing large datasets efficiently. Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and high degree of accuracy. Highly organized with ability to prioritize responsibilities effectively to meet deadlines. Open to growth, driven, and willing to learn in a complex environment. Excellent communication (both oral & written) and interpersonal skills. Proactive and self-motivated. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. Capable of handling stress and performing effectively under pressure.Desired Qualifications Proficiency in Microsoft Great Plains Financials or related system. Knowledge of Manufacturing, supply chain and procurement workflows and systems.
