Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: NICU Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 12-Hour Nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Previous Travel Experience Required License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, NRP Must-Have: Cerner or EPIC Experience Job Description: - Provide comprehensive care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.- Handle top diagnoses and procedures, including: - Respiratory Distress - Transient Tachypnea of the Newborn - Prematurity - Hyperbilirubinemia - Rule Out Sepsis - Failed CCHD Screen - Intrauterine Drug Exposure- Perform special procedures such as: - Umbilical Lines - PICC Lines - Intubation/Surfactant Administration - CPAP, NIPPV - Conventional Ventilation - High-Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)- Administer common medications such as D10, TPN, Lipids, Ampicillin, Gentamicin, with occasional use of Dopamine/Dobutamine.- Wear specified navy blue scrubs while on duty.This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment with a focus on neonatal care.
