Job-Senior Cloud DeveloperLocation-Minneapolis, MN (hybrid).Contract Duration: 12 MonthsRequired Skills & ExperienceExperience working with multiple disparate systems.Experience in Cloud Technologies (AWS / Azure / Google).Proficiency with Python, Java, shell scripting (Bash and Poweshell) & SQLExperience working with streaming data and data extraction from different databases (Oracle, DB2, MySQL etc)Experienced with deploying and managing infrastructures based on Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShiftUnderstanding of data engineering, real time streaming and/or eventing, and json parsingExperience with automating application deployment, continuous delivery, and continuous integration (Jenkins, Ansible etc.)Experience building micro services and API architectureDebugging & troubleshooting skillsDesired Skills & ExperienceDegree in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent experienceAirline Industry experience is a plus?Experience with scalable data extraction tools is a plusExperience working with Kafka, Aurora, AWS Glue, Redshift is a plusBusiness Intelligence/Analytics experience a plusAWS is preferred.What You Will Be DoingDevelop solid and supportable modular designs for data streaming, Cloud transformation/migration, and API product development in support of critical applicationsDevelop data APIs and data delivery services that support operational and analytical applications for internal business operations, customers and partnersCreation and support of data-centric products that encompass multiple specializations, platforms, and technologiesAnalyze technical information and produce quality softwareInitiate collaboration with teammatesOffer creative solutions to overcome obstaclesWork within automated testing and CICD processesBe an expert on the products we builtDocument solutions in written and diagram form, and communicate across teamsLeverage developer coding standards to ensure it meets design goals and business needsIdentify technical issues, articulate impact and need for prioritization
