Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive legal representation for clients facing insurance defense litigation, including those involving catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and multi-million dollar disputes.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to inform case strategy and provide effective defense for our clients.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
  • Represent clients in court, presenting compelling arguments and effectively cross-examining witnesses.
  • Collaborate with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to ensure effective case management and client communication.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents, applying this knowledge to client cases and legal strategy.
  • Provide regular case updates to clients, ensuring they are informed and confident in our legal strategy and representation.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Must be a member in good standing with the state bar.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance defense litigation, with a proven track record of success in handling catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and multi-million dollar cases.
  • Exceptional legal writing skills, with the ability to draft clear, concise, and persuasive legal documents.
  • Strong litigation skills, with experience representing clients in court and conducting effective cross-examinations.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex legal information and apply it to case strategy.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to maintain effective relationships with clients, colleagues, and court personnel.
  • Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple cases and deadlines concurrently.
  • Demonstrated commitment to legal ethics and client confidentiality.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
