Job Details:

Our organization is seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Controller to join our team within the Manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of our company's financial operations, including SEC reporting, financial reporting, budgeting, and general ledger. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role. You will work closely with the executive team and report directly to the CFO. This role is critical to our organization's success, and we are looking for a dedicated and ambitious professional to contribute to our strategic goals.

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee all financial operations of the company, including the development and management of budgets, preparation of financial statements, and reporting to company executives and regulatory bodies.
  2. Ensure compliance with the SEC and other governmental regulations.
  3. Manage the preparation and publication of departmental and organization financial documents.
  4. Collaborate with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations.
  5. Develop budgets and financial plans for the company based on research and data reports.
  6. Review all financial plans and budgets regularly to look for cost reduction opportunities.
  7. Examine all financial reports and data closely to check for discrepancies.
  8. Create systems to prevent errors in data collection and calculations.
  9. Report to the CFO with timely and accurate financial information.
  10. Assist the CFO in presenting reports to senior executives, stakeholders, and board members.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related discipline. A Master’s degree or CPA will be highly regarded.
  2. Minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior financial managerial position with a proven record of success.
  3. Solid understanding of data analysis, budgeting and business operations.
  4. Superior mathematical skills; understanding of financial laws and regulations.
  5. Proficient user of finance software, with advanced skills in MS Excel.
  6. Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  8. An analytical mind with a strategic ability.
  9. Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
  10. Demonstrated experience with SEC reporting, financial reporting, budgeting, and general ledger.
