Spherion is accepting applications for Welders for a local machine shop. Candidates MUST have flux core welding work experience to qualify.Responsibilities:Assemble a wide variety of products from prints as well as from written and verbal instructionsRequired to lift, carry and package parts and or assemblies weighing up to 40 pounds. Operate both hand and power tools used in fit / weld areaPerform all quality checks as defined in work order packetInspect products using precision measuring equipment, tape measures and visual comparisonWorking hours: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PMSkills:Have working knowledge of weld proceduresCan operate power toolsCan read work ordersCan read measuring toolsProduction weld/ fit experience is a huge plusEducation:High SchoolExperience:1-4 yearsQualifications:MUST have proven work experience as a welderMUST have fitting and flux core knowledgeMUST be able to read blueprintsMust submit to drug screen and background checkPlease register at www.spherion.com/apply.
