Due to our continued growth, we are currently seeking to add to our Warehouse Operations team. This is a multi-faceted role that includes receiving and processing of vendor shipments; processing and staging daily orders for our Shop team; receiving and processing of inventory picked up by our delivery team as well as staging inventory for transporting between our warehouses. In this role you will operate a forklift, pallet jacks, dollies and rolling carts while carrying out daily tasks involving handling sensitive office equipment. You will also perform data entry related to daily transactions carried out, as well as other general warehouse operations & assisting with periodic inventory counts.
The ideal candidate has good written and verbal communications skills; can work independently and within a larger team; has a strong sense of urgency and time management and has an upbeat, positive attitude towards the challenges each day presents. You have the ability to type efficiently, are very comfortable with working in a warehouse environment and are comfortable working with various Microsoft Office programs, such as Outlook, Xcel & Word. This role also includes working in our specialized software system to process sales orders, as well as UPS WorldShip and other vendor platforms to process shipments for various departments.
As an essential business, our performance directly impacts the ability of various critical regional infrastructure, medical and educational organizations to operate effectively, allowing them to serve the community as seamlessly as possible. This role supports the success of our organization by ensuring proper inventory processing, which allows us to effectively serve our customers' needs.
The position is full time, Mon-Fri, 7am-4pm and pay for this position starts at $20 per hour and includes bonus opportunities.
We provide initial On-The-Job training and clearly defined expectations, along with the support of a knowledgeable team. Uniform shirts are also provided; however work pants, not jeans, along with work boots/shoes are required.
