A law firm in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking an experienced Investment Funds Associate Attorney with 4-7 years of relevant experience in fund formation, M&A, capital markets, and other corporate transactional matters.Duties:Drafting and negotiating private fund formation documents, including limited partnership agreements, subscription agreements, and side letters.Advising clients on regulatory and compliance issues related to investment funds.Conducting due diligence and preparing documentation for investment fund mergers and acquisitions.Assisting in the structuring and execution of capital markets transactions.Providing legal support and advice on general corporate matters related to investment funds.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the California State Bar (active and in good standing).4-7 years of experience practicing law focusing on investment funds, M&A, or capital markets.Strong understanding of SEC regulations and compliance requirements.Excellent analytical, research, and drafting skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.Certifications:Membership in relevant professional associations (e.g., ABA Section of Business Law).Skills:Proficiency in legal research databases and Microsoft Office Suite.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
