We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This is a permanent, full-time position, offering an exciting opportunity to immerse yourself in a diverse range of litigation matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance defense, civil litigation, product liability, construction law, and professional liability. You will be working in a fast-paced environment where you will be expected to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a challenging environment and who is looking to take their legal career to the next level.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal counsel and guidance on a variety of legal issues, including insurance defense, civil litigation, product liability, construction law, and professional liability.
  • Prepare and draft legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, motions, discovery, and settlement agreements.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to advise clients on their legal rights and obligations.
  • Collaborate with a team of attorneys and paralegals to develop case strategies and prepare for trial.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all client and firm interactions.
  • Stay updated on current legislation and legal developments relevant to our practice areas.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Must have an active license to practice law in the state.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in insurance defense, civil litigation, product liability, construction law, and professional liability.
  • Excellent negotiation, advocacy, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong research and report writing skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and cases.
  • Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, attorneys, and court personnel.
  • High level of attention to detail, organization, and time management.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Commitment to adhere to legal principles, professional ethics, and company policies.
