Costuming Manager runs the daily Costuming Operations of Operational Costume Issues and Entertainment Character Costuming locations. You will lead, mentor, and develop Cast with a constant eye toward safety, inclusion, and building positive relationships with business partners in a fast-paced environment.

This is a Casual Temporary or Seasonal role with no guarantee of weekly working hours, as hours will fluctuate based on business needs.

You will report to the Proprietor Costuming

What You Will Do

Ensure an environment where Guest and Cast Member safety is the priority and seek opportunities to improve Guest service

Monitor and Analyze inventory quantity and quality using software SAP (System, Applications, and Products) and GUS (Garment Utilization System)

Meet annual financial targets

Ensure safety plans are included as part of quality, scope, budget, and schedule requirements

Perform administrative responsibilities such as attending meetings, compiling operational metrics, completing required reports, and reading and responding to emails

Incorporate the lens of Leadership, Management, Technical skills, and Relationships (LMTR) in daily functions and when implementing decisions

Create an environment of inclusion where diverse thoughts and ideas are recognized

Recognize and develop Cast Members and hold them accountable for delivering excellence in safety, courtesy, inclusion, show, and efficiency

Required Qualifications & Skills

Minimum 3 years of theatrical, entertainment, costuming, and/or related management experience

Minimum 1-year leadership experience and/or experience in a role of higher responsibility such as Coordinator, Crew Chief, Lead, Trainer, or the like

Proficient in standard office software programs and mobile electronic devices

Passion for partnering, coaching, and mentoring

Problem-solving skills, influencing abilities, and ability to provide effective feedback

Self-assured, eloquent, and professional speaking & writing abilities (and experience)

Experience initiating, organizing, and completing multiple tasks promptly

Ability to share creative and new insights

Experience with budgeting and scheduling

Passion for delivering phenomenal guest service

Ability to be flexible with work schedule, including weekends and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

Shown experience with Walt Disney World® collective bargaining agreements

Proven knowledge of MyTime, EISS, and SAP

Previous experience within Entertainment Operations, Attractions, Merchandise, and/or Food and Beverage line of business

Fluent in Spanish or Haitian Creole

Education

High School degree or equivalent

Bachelor's degree or equivalent is preferred.
