We are currently with a $80B Real Estate Investment Fund that is currently looking to further expand their real estate asset management team by bringing on a VP to join their west coast team. This firm is know for having a strong and diversified real estate portfolio in all major asset classes across all major markets in both the US and Europe.As VP of Real Estate Asset Management, you will work closely with senior leadership and play an instrumental part in driving asset value and strategic decision-making for the firm. Youll play a critical role in managing and enhancing the performance of a large portfolio of office properties across various west coast markets.Key Responsibilities:Asset Management:

Oversee the performance, value optimization, and strategic direction of a diverse portfolio of office assets. Develop and execute asset-level strategies to enhance returns and maximize value for investors.Financial Analysis:

Utilize ARGUS and other financial models to conduct detailed property-level and portfolio-wide analysis. Analyze rent rolls, lease structures, tenant financials, and cash flow projections.Budgeting & Forecasting:

Lead annual budgeting, financial forecasting, and capital planning efforts for office assets. Monitor financial performance against budgets and identify opportunities for expense reduction and revenue enhancement.Investment Strategy:

Assist in formulating and implementing investment strategies, including repositioning, redevelopments, and potential asset acquisitions or dispositions. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform decisions.Leasing & Property Operations:

Work closely with the leasing and property management teams to develop leasing strategies, improve occupancy, and maintain asset quality. Negotiate leases and renewals in alignment with market conditions and strategic objectives.Risk Management:

Identify and mitigate risks related to market volatility, tenant defaults, and other operational challenges. Develop contingency plans and proactive risk management strategies.Reporting & Communication:

Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management, stakeholders, and investors. Communicate key findings, risks, and strategic recommendations effectively.Stakeholder Engagement:

Foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, joint venture partners, lenders, and third-party service providers. Ensure alignment with firm goals and the strategic direction of the portfolio.Compliance:

Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and corporate governance policies related to asset management and property operations.Qualifications:Experience:

6-9 years of experience in real estate asset management, with a strong focus on office assets.Technical Skills:

Proficiency in ARGUS Enterprise and other financial modeling tools is essential..Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or other advanced qualifications (e.g., CFA, CPM, RICS) is a plus.Analytical Skills:

Strong financial acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex financial information and identify key trends and drivers of value.Market Knowledge:

In-depth knowledge of office real estate markets, trends, and best practices. A strong network of industry contacts is advantageous.Leadership:

Proven leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop junior team members and influence decision-making across the organization.Communication:

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Must be able to effectively articulate strategies and engage with senior leadership and investors.Detail-Oriented:

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.Travel:
