A national client is looking for an expert with Dynatrace who can install new applications to Dynatrace, set up and onboard new applications, do configurations, perform administrative functions, enhance performance and optimization of the Dynatrace tool. This person would be the Subject Matter Expert with Dynatrace for the team. This person should know all of the functionalities of Dynatrace and know the framework of the tool. They will operate as the system admin for the Dynatrace tool.
This role will be in support of a Performance Production team. This Performance Production team uses Dynatrace, CatchPoint, Quantum Metric, AppDynamics (phasing out), BigPanda, etc. to monitor their applications, systems and overall IT health. Other members of the team do the monitoring and alerting. This System Admin will be adding new applications to the Dynatrace platform and optimizing performance.Supporting production applications using specific monitoring tools. Actively engage teams to deploy and troubleshoot. Knowledge of the cloud environment will help this person troubleshoot, not that they are deploying, but having knowledge helps troubleshoot.Monitoring using the applications, all these applications that need to be onboarded to Dynatrace. Binaries need to be added to Dynatrace, set up needs to be done, including naming conventions.
Linux operating system (70% Linux/30% windows). Must have some Linux experience.Flavor doesn't matter, RedHat enterprise is fine
Additionally, they may support other tools like CatchPoint or AppDynamics.
Must be able to work independently and be self motivated. Have common sense troubleshooting skills.
Compensation:$50/hr to $60/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
