Primary Duties and Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and implement custom Workday solutions to enhance functionality and address business requirements within the HCM domain.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and define technical specifications for Workday integrations, reports, and extensions.Develop and maintain Workday integrations using EIBs, Core & Cloud Connectors, and Workday Studio, ensuring data accuracy and integrity across systems.Create custom reports, dashboards, and analytics to provide insights into financial and HR performance metrics, leveraging Workday reporting tools and advanced analytics functionalities.Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior developers and functional analysts, sharing knowledge and best practices for Workday development and customization.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, HR, IT, and other business units, to understand requirements and deliver integrated solutions that drive business outcomes.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Workday configurations, integrations, and customizations, working closely with support teams and vendors as needed.Stay current with Workday releases, updates, and industry trends, continuously identifying opportunities for innovation and optimization within the Workday platform.Education and Experience:

Minimum 5 years of experience in building integrations within the Workday ecosystem using cloud connectors, EIB, and Workday Studio.Experience of XML transformation with XSLT.Experience working with various document transfer formats such as EDI and ISO.Experience working with REST & SOAP API.Experience with developing applications using Workday Extend.Physical Requirements:

Visual requirements include: ability to see detail at near range with or without correction.Must be physically able to perform sedentary work: operating a computer, occasionally lifting or carrying objects of no more than 10 pounds, and occasionally standing or walking.Must be able to perform the following physical activities: meeting with customers, kneeling, reaching, handling, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Worker Characteristics:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.Commitment to the Hy-Vee Mission and a willingness to promote the values of the company.Strong interpersonal skills. An ability to relate to and interact with other people in a friendly, professional manner.Ability to identify problems, develop and execute solutions.Knowledge and experience with the following Workday modules: HCM, Payroll, Recruiting, and Compensation.Understanding of Workday business processes framework, and Workday domain security.Complex Workday Report writing skills, along with Workday Prism reporting preferred.Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, and JavaScript.In-depth understanding of system architectureThorough knowledge of Software Development Life cycle and QA processes.Very good understanding of HR technology tools and domain.Ability to work well with business users in requirement gathering, solutions design, development, and QA.Action-oriented, self-motivated, and independent.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Established verbal and written communication skills.

Working Conditions

The duties for this position are performed in a general or remote office setting. There is weekly pressure to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks in a day.
