DVS is looking for a

Senior Network Administrator with an active Secret Clearance

to support our team in located at

Corpus Christi, TX. This is a hybrid role with 2 days onsite and 3 days telework.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for the acquisition, installation, maintenance and usage of the company's local area network.Research solutions for new equipment, software, performance improvements, and network configuration/management to support networking requirementsCollaborate with team members to identify and implement solutions to improve network performance and reliabilityImplement enterprise network policy and maintain Cybersecurity initiatives and directives as directed by the Department of DefenseAssist with network administration tasks such as Switch configuration, Wireless and VoIP deploymentPlan and implement future network upgrades as directed by the clientEvaluates, develops and maintains telecommunications systems.Monitor network performance and securityTroubleshoots network problems.Establishes and implements network policies, procedures and standards and ensures their conformance with information systems and company's objectives.Provide briefings to the client of any service interruptions/threats to the network.Operate cable testing equipment, such as Fluke tester and basic cable testersExperience with 568A/568B termination standards and installation of cabling infrastructureTrains users on network operation.Qualifications:

Security+ CE Certification required, CCNA or higher preferredMinimum 5 years of related work experienceOperational knowledge of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) and application virtualization; Network and routing protocols; Switch configuration and programming.Ability to troubleshoot Layer 1 and 2 network switching connectivity problemsExtensive knowledge of networking services and common networking protocolsExperience with various terminal emulation softwareExperience with Cisco Prime and Cisco ISEExperience with standard industry meters and cabling equipmentAbility and desire to work as a member of a team and as a team of oneAbility to problem solve and think criticallyAttention to detail and the ability to communicate are criticalSecret Security ClearancePhysical and Mental Qualifications:

Be able to maintain awareness during scheduled working hours.Prolonged periods sitting or standing at desk and working on a computer (mouse and keyboard)Able to lift up to 15 pounds.Excellent verbal and written communication; good command of the English languageExecute tasks independently and work as a team.Learns and memories routine tasks.Strong organizational, grammar, business correspondence, and self-management skillsCandidates must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily.
