Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled WebFocus BI Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining BI solutions using WebFocus. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions that drive data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities:Design, develop, and implement BI solutions using WebFocus.Collaborate with business users to gather and analyze requirements.Develop reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to present information effectively.Optimize and tune BI applications for performance and scalability.Integrate BI solutions with other systems and data sources as required.Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting to ensure solution quality.Provide technical support and training to end-users as needed.Stay updated on WebFocus features, updates, and best practices.Requirements:
Proven experience as a BI developer using WebFocus or a similar BI tool.Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and methodologies.Proficiency in WebFocus development including report and dashboard creation.Experience with SQL queries and database management systems (DBMS).Familiarity with ETL processes and data integration techniques.Ability to analyze complex data sets and interpret results.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (preferred).
REQUIRES:
This position requires: (i) B.S. or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mathematics or a related field, and (ii) 5 years' experience with experience in a Reports Developer role with five years' concurrent experience with FOCUS, WebFOCUS, Reporting Server (iWay/EDA), and SQL, (iii) and three years' concurrent experience with CSS, HTML, and JavaScript.
