Senior Computer Systems Analyst - Contingent

Position Type: Full-Time Work Site: Patuxent River, MD Work Location: Remote (see COVID-19 procedures below) COVID-19 Procedures: On-boarding will require 1-2 visits to Patuxent River, MD. Training will be virtual and telework maximized/permitted to the greatest extent possible, however training/tasking may require on-site work a few hours per week. Future on-site/telework requirements/schedules may change as additional client direction is received. Essential Functions: Analyze engineering, business, and data processing problems to develop/implement solutions to applications problems, system administration issues, and/or network concerns. Perform systems management/integration, improve computer systems, and review system capabilities, workflow, and schedule limitations. May analyze/recommend commercial software. Provide project management, analysis, product exploration, technology planning, and solution formulation in support of ITSM development and implementation. Other duties as assigned or required. Qualifications and Experience: Required: Experience analyzing IT/system administration/network issues and developing solutions required. Experience identifying, designing, and implementing ITIL service management strategies. Experience developing and training ITIL concepts required. Security certification required. Operating System certification required. Desired: NAVAIR IT experience highly desired. Security Clearance: Active Secret clearance required. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc. Education: BS/BA degree and 10 years related experience OR AA/AS degree and 14 years related experience OR HS and 16 years related experience.
