We're seeking a
Business Intelligence Analyst
to join us.
As a
Business Intelligence Analyst,
you will be a key contributor within the BI and Technology Teams. You will build and manage partner relationships, utilize key Business Intelligence platforms and tools, and provide data quality management, enterprise performance management and KPIs across a variety of functions.
What you'll do:You will leverage your own deep technical expertise and that of team members to:
Use fact-based decision making to deliver clear, reliable business metrics across a variety of functionsDevelop creative visual analyses that simplify complex concepts for quick end user consumptionIn conjunction with Product Managers and the Manager of Business Intelligence, contribute to strategic direction to achieve company near and long-term goals, especially specific to reporting availability, service levels and quality of dataEvolve current data strategies, bringing fresh ideas to the table to continuously improve our direction and resultsContribute to design of analytics, including data sampling, mining, and quality and data visualization solutionsCollaborate with stakeholders to validate assumptions, and potentially organize or develop requirementsOversee the maintenance and creation of BI systems based on existing architecture and environments to solve business issuesCollaborate with senior management to identify, prioritize and implement new data sources and analytics needsAid in the support and maintenance of the analytics platform through responding to incident management cases where intervention may be required
What you'll bring to Zotec:
3+ years working with and supporting business and/or technology users in the area of business intelligence and data warehousingExperience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) preferredUndergraduate or Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g. engineering, business, economics, finance, statistics, information systems, data science, and analytics)High degree of professionalism and self-motivationExperience with advanced data visualization tools (Tableau preferred)Experience working with and contributing to a large BI and Analytics platformExperience writing advanced SQL queriesExcellent executive facing communication skills coupled with a strong track record of driving value for a businessExperience working with a cross-functional teamExperience managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneouslyAbility to understand critical issues and bring appropriate resolution to complex issuesAbility to drive estimation and assessment work with a high degree of repeatability and accuracyUnderstanding of predictive modeling and machine learning concepts preferred but not required
