Overview
We are looking for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our business intelligence team. The Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions that enhance efficiency and effectiveness. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, assess needs, and facilitate communication between technical teams and business units.
Key Responsibilities of the Business Analyst
Collaborate with stakeholders to define business requirements and objectives. Analyze current business processes and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement. Develop and document detailed business requirements, use cases, and functional specifications. Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather input and feedback from stakeholders. Create process maps and diagrams to visualize workflows and proposed changes. Conduct market analysis and research to support business decisions and strategy. Assist in the development and implementation of project plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders. Support training and change management initiatives during implementation. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to provide insights for enhancements. Qualifications for the Business Analyst
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Proficiency in tools for gathering and analyzing data (e.g., Excel, SQL). Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) is a plus. Knowledge of business process modeling techniques and tools. Preferred Qualifications for the Business Analyst
Experience in healthcare or healthcare revenue cycle. Familiarity with software development processes. Certification in business analysis (e.g., CBAP or similar) is a plus. Physical Demands/Working Conditions
This position requires prolonged periods of sitting. Requires coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, mouse and other office equipment. Work in this position will be performed in a remote office environment. This position may require some travel
