Key Areas of ResponsibilityManage client network infrastructure consisting of firewalls, layer 2 and layer 3 switches, VPN appliances, VMware & Hyper-V networking, wireless controllers & APs, and other associated network infrastructure.Resolve incident and problem tickets in a timely manner according to predefined SLAs and record all time logs in real time, all of the time.Install and configure switching, wireless, and other associated network devices both onsite at client sites and remotely from the Taunton, MA office.Manage network access control, network segmentation and security, and 802.1x.Conducting network performance tests, integrity tests, and perform root cause analysis; generate reports.Microsoft systems administration and help desk backup assistance, as needed.Review and remediate tickets generated from security tools, services, and systems such as the SIEM, EDR, MDR services.Develop and maintain complete technical documentation.Interact with business partners providing network engineering support.Ability to execute multiple projects, meeting hard deadlines.Mentor junior engineers and technicians.Attend trainings and obtain several expert-level certifications annually.Participation in the on-call rotation as both a rotating regular engineer but also a recurring escalation point is a requirement.Other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications 5+ years of firewall, L2/L3 switching, and wireless management.3+ years of Aruba switching, Aruba wireless, FortiGate & SonicWall firewall experience.1+ year of Cisco Meraki, Ubiquiti, and Sophos networking experience.2+ years of Windows Server administration experience.Wireshark troubleshooting experience.Must have strong interpersonal communication and team-based skills.Must have strong documentation skills.Must have exceptional oral and written communication skills.Ability to consistently follow policies and procedures.
