Network Engineer, Infrastructure Network Engineering

Specialize in network engineering in a semi-global enterprise environment. This role will provide network engineering, implementation, analytical, and operational support. The engineer will ensure compliance to established system architecture, regulations and security policies, follow standards and best practices, and author and maintain support documentation.
Responsibilities
Work closely with Staff/Senior Network Engineers on design and initiativesWork closely with Nevada Manufacturing teams and Construction and Facilities on initiativesMaintain current network solutions within workplace and R&D sites in surrounding Greater Nevada areaCollaborate with workplace team on development network or electrical components and/or services to meet their needsFunction as a Tier 1 Network supportProvision, implement, test/validate, and maintain networking services per solution designMonitor, analyze, and report metrics of network servicesDocument network knowledgebase and operational "Run-Book"Must be able to work occasional weekends, after hours, and holidaysMust be onsite Monday to Friday and willing to be active on site. This role involves walking good distances at times and is not a desk-only positionRequirements
4+ years of experience mid-large global enterprise networking infrastructureExtensive experience in IP networking, L2/L3 network protocols (spanning-tree, OSPF, BGP), TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, end to end QOS, VLAN, VRRP, LACP, MC-LAG, EVPN with VXLAN, ACL, application flow, NAC, and infrastructure cablingExtensive focus on L2 troubleshooting and deploymentExtensive experience with multi-vendor switching technologies including Juniper, Arista, and CiscoExtensive experience with Juniper SRX and Palo Alto Networks firewall services including IPSEC VPN, URL filtering, and IDS/IPSExperience with various tools such as Protocol Analyzer, SNMP, NetFlow, IPAM, RADIUS, Splunk, network taps, and load/stress testingExperience with developing scripts to automate infrastructure deployment and collect metrics is a plusExperience with Wireless Networking deployment and troublshooting with Aruba, Mist, and Meraki are a plusPreferred CCNA/JNCIA EnterpriseProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and VisioCompensation and BenefitsBenefits
