A successful GIS Specialist III shall develop and implement standards for data input and maintenance, map production, field data collection and metadata creation. This position will be responsible for providing technical and analytical information using software and databases for telecom projects. With minimal supervision, the individual will be responsible for the development and execution of GIS related project tasks. Applicants must be able to work in a fast paced environment, manage multiple projects and take rapidly shifting priorities in stride.

In order to perform this job, you must demonstrate, either by training or experience:

the ability to develop spatial and network topology models for analyzing communications networksassist with the development of GIS applications and models that enable spatial data analysis and queriesthe ability to input and update GIS data, ensuring accuracy, precision and organizationthe ability to interpret complex design drawings, property plats, maps and other related informationthe ability to communicate with Company personnel, customers, and contractors to ensure tasks are completedexperience working with GIS APIs and SDKs provided by various GIS software vendorsResponsibilities:

Qualifications:

Preferred 3 + years' experience in GIS or GIS related industryProficient in programming languages such as Python, Arcade, SQL, JavaScript, R, C++, C#Proficient in workflow automation/scripting, designing ETL processes, and web application developmentProficient in the use of hardware and software such as PCs, Tablets, IKE, Ocalc Pro, CAD, Google, ESRI Suite (ArcPRO, ArcGIS Online, Field Maps, etc.)Advanced proficiency in assigned function (Drafting, Designing, Make Ready, Geographic Information Systems, etc.)Authorized to work in the United StatesSuccessful completion of pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle record checkWhat you'll get...
