A successful GIS Manager shall be responsible for the overall management of the GIS Department to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and profitability of all engineering projects. At a minimum, the position requires a good working knowledge of telecommunications network design; ability to use ARCGIS and other office related equipment, familiarity with telecommunications design software; ability to read, understand, interpret, input and analyze data.In order to perform this job, you must demonstrate, either by training or experience:the ability to work safely, with or without supervision

the ability to read understand, interpret, input, and analyze data with a high degree of accuracy and completeness

experience in managing large complex programs and high volume projects

excellent manual dexterity

excellent oral/written communication, interpersonal and analytical skills, Exceptional critical thinking ability

the ability to read and understand highway/road prints and identify conflicts with outside plant facilities

the ability to perform independently with minimal supervision, exercising latitude to achieve daily objectives

the ability to work seated at a table for extended periods

? :Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in a relatedfield or 5 years of related work experiencePrevious supervisory and/or managerial experienceProject management skills including planning, organizing, and coordinating tasksAuthorized to work in the United StatesSuccessful completion of pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle record check
