Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB's operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities. The work model for the role is: onsite This role is contributing to the Process Automation Business. You will be mainly accountable for: •Partner with OPEX team members to find and implement continuous improvement projects aligned to reduce operations EBITA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, & Amortization) •Perform daily tasks associated with process engineering such as: MP (Manufacturing Procedure) audit/creation, SAP routings, quality control and deviation submissions, tooling creation/improvements... •Find and pitch improvement ideas, and then execute ideas if approved into a full project •Document any best practices discovered and/or standards implementedQualifications for the role Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in engineering in the United States. Intern must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future. Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions Effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality Collaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progressMore about usWe look forward to receiving your application.
