Our commitment is to actively engage with our mission customers, to identify emerging needs and to invest in opportunities that advance our collective mission.Responsibilities:On any given day you may be asked to collaborate with others to investigate, plan, gather requirements, design, develop, test, document, analyze problems, and support software systems and applications.Additional duties may be assigned:Develop high-performance web applications using Javscript(React, Vue.js, Node)Work closely with customers and end-users to define and document application requirements;Test, debug, and refactor frontend and backend web application code;Translate detailed design into application systems;Test, debug, and refine applications to produce the required product;Prepare required documentation, including both program-level and user-level documentation; enhance applications to improve performance and add functionality;Provide interactive issue troubleshooting, following user issue tickets through to resolution, documenting resolutions in a knowledge base, and working with application and system owners to identify advanced solutions.Qualifications:
BS/BA & 2 Years experience. OR 6 years experience in lieu of degree plus an additional 2 years experience.US CitizenAbility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy Q security clearanceREQUIRED SKILLSExperience with software engineering standard methodologiesExperience with Linux, Mac or MS-Windows operating systemsExperience with some or all of the following: Javascript (pre-ES6 and ES6/7), React, Next.js, Node, HTML/CSS, Git, MySQL, SQL, MongoDBFamiliar with testing frameworks(Jest, Playwright)Experience with automation, orchestration, continuous integration, and continuous delivery including tools such as Docker, GitLab CI, OpenshiftTesting, debugging, and refactoring frontend and backend web application codeVirtualization and cloud technologiesMigrating from conventional deployments to continuous integration/continuous deploymentStrong analytical and critical thinking skills to identify creative solutionsAbility to operate in a dynamic environment and motivated to continuously improve processes and skillsExceptional interpersonal, communication and prioritization skillsDESIRED SKILLSAbility to apply critical thinking skills and apply detailed data into useful information, such as documentation and developing policies, processes and proceduresAbility to work independently and within a teamWHY WORK AT ENCANTADO TECHNICAL SOLUTIONS?Encantado is powered by our people.
