Overview:

Encantado Technical Solutions is seeking an Application Engineer II to support a major national laboratory. The Mission Software Architecture Research and Development organization partners with programs to provide innovative software solutions that address critical national security problems. Organization projects include Integration and Testing (I&T) and Validation and Verification (V&V) of ground station systems as part of the US Nuclear Detonation Detection System (USNDS) program, and FORGE Project.Responsibilities:Participate in the design of software tools and subsystems to support reuse and domain analysis. Assist Applications Engineer and Applications Programmer to interpret software requirements and design specifications to code and integrate and test software components.Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree and 1 year experience in the relative field.In leu of a degree, 7 years expeirence required.U.S. Citizenship is required per contract to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q clearance.React ExperienceDesired:Typescript experienceKubernetes & Docker experienceGitlab & Gradle experienceFamiliarity with service-based architectures (e.g. SOA, microservices)Familiarity with inter-process communication patterns, techniques and technologiesFamiliarity with data storage architectures (relational, non-relational - e.g. document, wide-column)Active DOE Q-level clearance or equivalentAbout Us:Encantado Technical Solutions (ETS) is an unpopulated Small Business Administration-approved mentor-protg joint venture between Edgewater Federal Solutions, Inc. and ECS Federal, LLC.
