As a digital content writer at Abstrakt Marketing Group, you will have a direct impact on your clients' growth and success by writing professional, SEO-rich content. Reporting directly to the SEO content team lead and working alongside a team of A-Players, you will write B2B content for web pages, blogs, social media, and more to help your clients grow their business. The goal of the position is to create and promote content that drives leads for your clients by distilling complex industry information into readable, engaging content.

The ideal digital content writer is a creative thinker with the ability to manage multiple processes, responsibilities, and clients at once. They know how to research information and turn it into helpful content that informs and excites readers about a product, a service, or an industry.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIESWrite monthly B2B content for client web pages, social media, and blogsMeet specified word counts while following The Abstrakt Style Guide, adhering to our quality assurance standards, and applying SEO best practicesUpload client content to WordPress and Sendible each monthCommunicate closely with the copywriting team lead, account managers, and designers to adhere to project timelines and ensure deadlines are met while meeting clients goals and visionConduct research to find new information, formulate new ideas, support writing, and maintain a clear and consistent brand voice for your clientsConsult with clients on monthly calls to gather relevant information, discuss content strategy, and fine-tune messagingCreate original concepts wile communicating with clients to meet with expectationsUse google docs and CRM tools to manage daily assignments and track client contentRevise content based on client and internal feedbackJOB REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, English, marketing, or a related field from a four-year college or universityAbility to work independently, as well as with a team to meet deadlinesExcellent writing skills with the drive to continually raise the bar on creativity, writing fresh copy that connects with audiences and drives actionMaintain up-to-date knowledge of client communication and client-related industry trendsDemonstrate emotional intelligence and exhibit professional demeanor and appearance1+ year of agency, writing, or marketing experience, including writing for the web, and/or writing client marketing materials is PREFERREDExperience with web mark-up language, search engine optimization, and/or content strategy is PREFERREDExperience with using Salesforce, SEMrush, WordPress, and/or Sendible is PREFERRED
