Actual base pay will be determined based on a successful candidate's work location, skills/abilities, experience, and education. This role includes opportunity to receive an annual bonus target of 10% of annual eligible earnings. Actual bonus amounts are determined by length of time in role, individual performance, and organizational performance.

Our headquarters are located in Central Florida, Melbourne to be specific. While we prefer hiring someone who can work onsite, we are also open to hiring a fully remote candidate who meets all the minimum requirements. We are set up to employ remotely in the following states: AL, AZ, CO, FL, GA, IL, IN, KY, MO, NC, OH, OK, SC, SD, TN, TX, VA, WI, WV.

The Job

The EDI Analyst works closely with the Manager, EDI as well as Christian Care Ministry's IT department to maintain Needs Processing's daily EDI transactions and any troubleshooting related to these daily functions. In addition to daily responsibilities, the EDI Analyst will be an instrumental consultant for future enhancements and projects of the Needs Processing Department.

Essential Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesAnalyze, design and develop specifications for enhancements and extensions to electronic data interchange application interfaces and mapsMaintain and execute daily EDI imports, exports, conversions, encryptions and transfersTroubleshoots and resolves technical errors related to EDI functionsPrepare required documents, evaluate reports, and document all failed translation processesPerform testing and maintain test data on all EDI mapsExecute future conversion enhancementsMaintain process documentation on all jobsInterface between Needs Processing, Information Technology and Business Analytics departmentsAdvise Needs Processing leadership on the technical aspects of future endeavorsFrequently interface with internal/external customers and make significant contributions to department goals and planning effortsProvide support to all EDI production processes and mentorship to EDI techniciansContribute to the exercise and expression of Christian Care Ministry's Christian beliefsPerform all other duties as assignedEssential Skills & Abilities

Ability to solve a diverse range of complex problems, working with limited directionProficient in EDI file format 834, 270/271, 837, 276 and 278Strong knowledge of Batch ScriptsStrong research and investigation skillsKnowledge of Salesforce ReportingExperience with Claims Management SoftwareDemonstrated experience with FTP ConnectionsFamiliar with PGP encryptionKnowledge and skill with SQL/Access ReportingFamiliar with Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)Knowledge/application of standard security protocols for electronic data transmissionsKnowledge of HIPAA law and ability to adhere to HIPPA standardsAbility to apply standards of protected health information exchangeCore Competencies/Demonstrable Behaviors
