Responsible for managing complex IT Infrastructure projects within the Healthcare industry, ensuring they meet specified objectives, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and change management. This role involves the overall planning, coordination, and control of projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are functionally and financially viable and completed on time within authorized cost. Communicates regularly with internal and external stakeholders, vendors and executive leadership on status, risks, issues, and needs.

Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, execute, and finalize infrastructure projects within the healthcare setting according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants.Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals, risks, blockers, success measures, and estimated resources needed in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.Creates, manages, and distributes project communications artifacts like charters, schedules, and budgets.Provides project status updates at predetermined time intervals to all stakeholders.Communicates routinely to management, customers, project team members, and other stakeholders, actively soliciting and addressing customer and project team feedback.Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.Adhere to all regulations, company policies, and project management best practices, with a keen understanding of the unique requirements of healthcare infrastructure projects.Assists in business development efforts to create project proposals, RFPs, estimates, and schedules.Sets and monitors project budgets and staffing requirements.Establishes key project criteria metrics.Develop project control and reporting procedures and manage changes in operational planPlan and lead status review meetings, which may include internal team members, vendors, and customers.Resolves technical and operational issues as required.Required Skills

Thorough knowledge and hands on experience with the ITIL Framework and the ability to manage Infrastructure Projects as a service by directing and coordinating the day-to-day activities, tasks and deliverables required from the project team according to the project plan.Knowledge of, and hands on, experience with systems development lifecycle approaches as they apply to Project Management for the establishment, management and delivery of IT Products and Solutions.Knowledge of, and hands on, experience with assessments and compliance methodologies including, Security and HIPAA compliance policies.Ability to transition service including transition planning and support, release/deployment management, service validation and testing, change management, service asset and configuration management, and knowledge management.Ability to work in a team environment involving matrix organizations.Ability to resolve conflicting high-priority requirements.Ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.Ability to gather and analyze facts, draw conclusions, define problems, and suggest solutions.Ability to communicate effectively, build consensus, facilitate working sessions, and negotiate solutions and alternatives.Excellent meeting, workshop, and conference facilitation skills, with proven knowledge of how to foster attendee participate and collaboration in small and large groups.Knowledge and experience of with different project management frameworks, including waterfall and agile.

Solid technical understanding and ability to define and refine requirements through a project lifecycle.Employ strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage shifting priorities, demands and timelines.Ability to quickly learn, understand and apply new technologies.Willingly to mentor more junior team members and share knowledge.Positive, can-do attitude with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced work environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Healthcare Administration, or equivalent experience.At least 8 years of project management experience, with a minimum of 2 years in healthcare infrastructure or a related area.Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desirable.Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.Strong written and oral communication skills.Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on motivational skills and positive attitude.Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.Knowledge of healthcare industry's trends, regulations, and guidelines.
