Req ID:446505 POSITION OVERVIEW: The Sr Business Analyst will be a key team member of a software development team servicing Musket Corporation, a trading and logistics company and Trillium, an alternative fueling solutions company, which are an integral part of the Love’s Family of Companies. This individual will serve as a conduit between the business and development team, evaluating business needs, analyzing options available, and providing effective and resourceful business IT solutions that support or enhance Musket Corporation’s daily operations and capabilities.REQUIREMENTS: Function as a key contributor to a software development teamAbility to operate across various levels of the organizationProven ability to act independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignmentsPossess excellent interpersonal and strong communication skillsCommunicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, exhibit strong listening and feedback skillsProven ability to thrive/be successful in a fast-paced corporate environmentTrack record of delivering on deadlinesExcellent analytical skills and close attention to detailAbility to easily capture business requirements from the internal customer and communicate those needs to project team members including developers, project managers, IT staff, and managementAbility to quickly understand and explain complicated processes clearlyAbility to quickly analyze and identify more efficient workflows/processesAbility to serve as a change agent in the organizationMAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:Analyze and document business process flows and system data flowsCollaborate with cross-functional teams on new feature functional designs, functional requirements, limitations, and implementations of new initiativesApply baseline understanding of performing data imports/exports, standard API’s and other common application development concepts to technical and functional discussionsBecome the functional subject matter expert for the businesses supported as it pertains to systems and applicationsServe as team representative on the weekly Change Management, presenting changes and identifying potential external impacts to teamCommunicate updates to users including release notes, outage notices, general announcementsPrep data and import/export using the data loader or other import toolsBuild out reporting and dashboardsChair User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles as neededAssist in unit testing, regression testing, and QA as neededDaily troubleshooting and technical support for applications to minimize production outages/downtimeMaintenance of users, profiles, roles and permission setsCustomization and configuration of standard objects, fields, layouts, and record typesDocumentation of all system processes and training guides as neededTrain new and existing users on system functionalityEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:5+ years working in a software development team preferredBachelor’s Degree in computer science, management information systems, engineering, math, business, or equivalent experience and certificationsFamiliarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC), waterfall, Agile, KanbanExperience working in project management applications such as Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, JIRA, or similarFamiliarity with Salesforce, ServiceNow, Zendesk or similarExperience in energy supply chain, specifically as it pertains to the movement of commodities such as oil, natural gas, refined products a plus PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Ability to engage in repetitive motions, including movements of the hands, wrists, or fingersAbility to sit for prolonged periodsAbility to speak, including expressing oneself or exchanging information with othersAbility to hear, including perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correctionAbility to see and distinguish shapes with or without corrective eyewearAbility to receive detailed information through oral communication and to make discriminations in soundMay be required to lift objects less than 25 pounds, occasionallyJob Function(s): Corporate Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores is the industry-leading travel stop network in the United States.
