IT Project Manager III - Compliance/Fraud (Remote)

Overview:
This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States. This position is responsible for projects of a substantial scope and influence to enhance the Bank's technological capabilities. Leverage in depth business and technical knowledge to manage the execution and administration of project life cycle including planning, scope definition, design, and delivery. Recognize and drive organizational transformations outside of projects. Directs both technical and non-technical aspects with an advanced understanding of project management approaches. Tracks and reports progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, or other performance indicators to analyze strategic impact of project activities. Coordinates activities of IT teams with other lines of business to achieve project goals. May oversee the work of less experienced project managers in the work group. Responsibilities: Managing the budget and timeline. Setting project goals and coming up with plans to meet those goals. Maintaining project timeframes, budgeting estimates and consolidation of workstream status report. Coordinating project team members and developing schedules and individual responsibilities. Implementing IT strategies that deliver projects on schedule and within budget. Using project management tools to track project performance and schedule adherence. (MS Project, Jira, M&A Accelerator, Clarity, Planview) Scheduling and facilitating discussions and tracking minutes in a standard, predefined format. Weekly report outs to program management. Conducting risk assessments for projects. Establishment and maintenance of projects RAID log. Identifying and organizing working sessions necessary to meet project goals and drive progress. Identifying project goals, needs, and scope. Planning, monitoring/controlling, and documenting tasks throughout the project. Ensuring all tasks, deliverables, and project materials are delivered promptly and reporting any delays in a timely fashion. Managing all resources necessary for project execution in conjunction with program management and delivery leadership. Fostering effective communication and meetings with executive sponsors and stakeholders concerning project status. Foreseeing and strategically eliminating blockers and potential risks. Working effectively with workstream leads and program management to deliver projects goals and objectives. Documenting each step of the process using various project management tools. Ensuring top-quality results and success for a project.
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Advanced Project Management and technology knowledge OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Advanced Project Management and technology knowledge Preferred Area of Experience: Software Development, InfrastructureLicense or Certification Type: Project Management Professional certification (or equivalent) Required Direct experience working on projects specific to Compliance and Fraud (AML, BSA, KYC), preferred. Direct experience managing systems integration projects, preferred. Direct experience managing business process improvement projects, preferred. Extremely organized and detailed oriented. Self-motivated. Proven leadership skills. Strong written and verbal communications. Strong interpersonal skills. Business, financial, and technical acumen. Assertive and action oriented. Manages conflict. Collaborative. 10+ years experience in the financial industry and/or equivalent business and enterprise systems experience. Have experience partnering with vendors and team members on requirements, deliverables, project planning, timelines, resourcing.
