Mercaso is hiring an IT Specialist / Desktop Support Technician responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our Warehouse, Office and Field end-users. This involves troubleshooting hardware, software issues, Wifi/network environment, maintaining IT systems, and ensuring the smooth operation of the companys computer networks. You will be responsible for Mobile Device Management (MDM), support of the CCTV security system and collaborate with teams for new hardware and system implementations. You will work with service providers and other IT vendors as necessary.Mercaso is the leading online wholesale app in the U.S. for convenience, grocery and household goods, serving over 2,000 convenience stores, mini-marts, liquor stores, gas stations and restaurants in Greater Los Angeles. We have a next-generation technology platform (www.mercaso.com), delivery routes all over L.A., and a 40,000 sqft fulfillment center based in City of Commerce, CA.Key Responsibilities:Technical Support:

Provide timely and effective technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.Troubleshooting:

Diagnose and resolve technical problems, including desktop, handheld smart devices, mobile printers, network equipment, camera system, laptop, printer(s) (Label & Paper), and peripheral issues.Asset Management:

Securing and management of IT hardware such as handheld devices, printers, laptops, and other IT hardware with an MDM solution.System Maintenance:

Perform regular maintenance tasks such as software updates, system backups, and hardware upgrades.User Training:

Assist in training end-users on the proper use of hardware and software applications.Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of support requests, resolutions, and IT inventory.Network Support:

Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and wireless access points.Security:

Implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures to protect company data and systems.Collaboration:

Work closely with all Mercaso teams to ensure seamless IT operations and support. Also work with teams on new implementations and help standardize support of required hardware and systems.Qualifications:Education:

Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Experience:

Minimum of 2 years experience in IT support or a similar role.Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Windows and Mac operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and common IT tools and software. Experience supporting smart devices such as Tablets and other warehouse handheld devices. Experience using MDM solutions such as SOTI, Avalanche or other similar software.Certifications:

CompTIA A+, Network+, or other relevant certifications are a plus.Communication:
