Job Description :
We are seeking a
Senior PeopleSoft System Administrator
with extensive technical expertise and experience in supporting PeopleSoft Pension Administration Systems. This role involves managing system upgrades, application migrations, infrastructure assessment, and database operations in large, complex environments.
Responsibilities :•Lead the execution of PeopleSoft system upgrades, including building demo environments, patching, performance tuning, project planning, and managing all production moves.•Manage all phases of PeopleSoft application migrations, including building environments, patching, developing migration plans, performing migrations, testing, issue resolution, and performance tuning.•Oversee infrastructure design, development, and deployment for PeopleSoft environments.•Conduct Oracle RAC and Oracle Database upgrades while ensuring smooth RDBMS operations on Oracle and MS SQL Server.•Assess infrastructure to ensure alignment with system requirements and operational needs.•Utilize SCRUM methodology for managing and coordinating project tasks.•Perform system administration tasks such as patch management, performance optimization, and security configurations.•Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff in technical processes and best practices.
Required Skills:•15+ years of experience as a PeopleSoft System Administrator/Database Administrator with a focus on large, complex environments.•Expert-level technical experience with PeopleSoft HCM, FSCM, CRM, and EPM applications.•Extensive experience with PeopleSoft tools (PeopleTools up to 8.61) and upgrades for HCM, CRM, and FSCM applications.•Proficiency in Oracle Linux 7/8, Oracle RDBMS 19c, Oracle RAC 19c, and VMWare (6+).•Advanced knowledge of operating systems: Windows, Red Hat Linux, Oracle Solaris, and Oracle Linux.•Strong expertise in languages: Ruby, SQL, PL/SQL, Transact SQL, PERL, and Bourne Shell.•Experience with PeopleSoft Update Manager, Change Assistant, Data Mover, BI/XML Publisher, NVision, Query, Process Scheduler, and Integration Broker.•Experience with infrastructure assessment, Oracle RAC upgrades, and database administration.•Preferred certifications: Oracle Certified Professional, ITIL Foundation Certified, PeopleSoft PeopleTools Installation and Server Administration, and PeopleTools Upgrade and Data Management.•
Nice to Have:•Experience with VMWare, AWS, WebLogic, and Tuxedo.•Knowledge of ITIL best practices and certification in ITIL Foundation.
