Position Summary:

Provide clerical and administrative support to the Site Administrator.

Essential Responsibilities:

Answer and/or transfer all incoming calls

Complete all admit, discharge, and progress letters

Provide general information and directions to callers and guests

Greet all visitors in a courteous and professional manner

Maintain files for program quality management meetings

Perform various clerical duties, while utilizing knowledge of software systems and agency policy and procedures

Direct services including: technical support, aid staff in the coordination of office services, dissemination of mail to staff, clients, and other departments, logging of all incoming/outgoing mail

Establish and maintain an understanding of the various programs that operates within the facility and Salvation Army's continuum of care within communities served

Copies and faxes documents

Provide supply requisitions to Site Operations Supervisor and maintain inventory of all non-medical supplies

Perform clerical tasks; as assigned by Site Administrator

Coordinate activities; as assigned by Site Administrator

Address minor issues not requiring the attention of the Site Administrator

Coordinate client transportation

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

Must possess High School Diploma or equivalent, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

Must possess good time-management/organizational skills

Must possess the ability to work independently

Computer Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft office applications, email, and internet

Experience working with Electronic Medical Records preferred

Certificates and Licenses:

Complete Safe From Harm training, and keep current as needed

Must have and maintain a current valid chauffeur license and pass the Salvation Army Motor Vehicle Record check (MVR)
