Remote Senior Software Developer at Oracle in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description Job Description At Oracle our exciting mission to build a premier health data platform with intelligent services, brings about several interesting technical challenges. As part of this team, you will accelerate several architectural efforts - achieve orders of magnitude data processing latency improvement, creating comprehensive patient health records that can scale to entire populations of nations, creating a health data lake at massive scale to enable a host of intelligent health services. Healthcare applications are mission critical requiring advancement to highest levels of availability and disaster recovery capabilities. As we partner with Oracle Cloud engineering teams, you will participate in advancement and early adoption of cutting edge OCI Big Data, data lake and data warehouse services and products. The Health Data platform will have global reach, requiring engineering advancements to support varying data laws and regulations, data formats and content. We're looking for a highly skilled engineers to design and build high-scale, cloud-based data processing systems that can handle massive amounts of data with low latency. You'll work with software engineering leads and engineering managers to perform design, implement code and deliver data processing software to our customers and stakeholders. Career Level - IC3 Responsibilities Responsibilities: + Implement distributed, scalable, and fault-tolerant software systems. + Build cloud services on top of the modern OCI infrastructure. + Participation in peer/code reviews. + Participate in the entire software lifecycle, from design to development, to quality assurance, to production deployment, and ongoing support and maintenance. + Invest in the best engineering and operational practices upfront to ensure our software quality bar is high. + Optimize data processing pipelines for orders of magnitude higher throughput and faster latencies. + Leverage a plethora of internal tooling at OCI to develop, build, deploy, and troubleshoot software.
