Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Strong knowledge and must have hands-onexperience on AIX, VIO and HMC
2. VIO upgrades/adapter firmware upgrades/VIOfailover/maintenance procedures
3. HMC updates/frame upgrades/Live partitionmobility/DLPAR/troubleshooting HMC issues
4. Install and configure AIX operatingsystems and servers.
5. Support AIX OS to run various softwareapplications.
6. Maintain and upgrade the AIX OS.
7. Develop procedures for AIX security andmanagement.
8. Develop performance improvementinitiatives for AIX system environment.
9. Identify and resolve system issues in atimely manner.
10. Analyze software and hardwareenvironments to determine any system defects.
11. Perform maintenance routines to ensurecontinuous system availability.
12. Develop and implement disaster recoveryprocedures to ensure business continuity.
13. Should be ready to work in 24X7 Shifts
14. Flexibility to work outside of BusinessHours to support any critical issues
15. Knowledge on and ability to followIncident, Request, Problem and Change Management Process.
16. Ability to work on multiple concurrenttasks with conflicting priorities
