Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Configure Linuxservers as per requirements
2. Troubleshootissues related to Linux Servers
3. Have experiencewith other distributions such as RHEL, SUSE, Ubuntu, CentOS, Others
4. Update patcheson the servers
5. Upgrade serversto latest versions
6. Performancemonitoring and troubleshooting
7. Strong knowledgeon configure failover IP configuration
8. Working withvendor during sev 1 issues
Satellite server:
9. Creating contentview and publish content view
10. Managing hosts and host groups
11. Upgrade satellite version as perrequirement
12. Managing activation keys
13. Troubleshooting connectivity issuesbetween client to satellite server
14. Strong knowledge and must have hands-onexperience on AIX, VIO and HMC
15. VIO upgrades/adapter firmwareupgrades/VIO failover/maintenance procedures
16. HMC updates/frame upgrades/Livepartition mobility/DLPAR/troubleshooting HMC issues
17. Install and configure AIX operatingsystems and servers.
18. Support AIX OS to run various softwareapplications.
19. Maintain and upgrade the AIX OS.
20. Flexibility to work outside of BusinessHours to support any critical issues
21. Knowledge on and ability to followIncident, Request, Problem and Change Management Process.
22. Ability to work on multiple concurrenttasks with conflicting priorities
