Job Title: IT Business AnalystDuration: 6 Months (W2 Contract)Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)
General Description:
The Business Technology Analyst is a fully seasoned professional responsible for independently managing assignments that involve technology solutions to meet business needs. This role serves as a crucial liaison among internal stakeholders, defining and documenting user interfaces and clarifying system and data requirements. The analyst will lead the requirements development process and support various project management activities within the organization.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Collaborate with Project Managers and Senior Project Managers to gather and analyze client business requirements.Develop business cases and perform return on investment analyses to support enterprise-level technology solutions.Lead the definition and execution of technology solutions, assisting in the coordination of implementation plans.Conduct post-implementation reviews to ensure project benefits are realized.Facilitate information-gathering sessions with clients to analyze business requirements.Support Business Process Reengineering initiatives, documenting current processes and systems.Perform data analysis to proactively identify or resolve issues with business applications or infrastructure.Act as a spokesperson for assigned business departments, aligning technology solutions with business needs.Validate business plans against strategic imperatives to ensure alignment.Consult with departments to understand complex business needs and provide IT input for business plans.Manage resource deployment to ensure successful service delivery.Conduct business process analysis and recommend improvements to streamline processes through technology.Produce reports, timelines, and graphics to meet user requests and support project analyses.Decision Making:
Select from multiple procedures and methods to accomplish tasks, interpreting organizational policies and recommending exceptions as necessary.Establish work methods, timetables, and performance standards.Leadership Provided:
Provide guidance and training to less experienced staff and may lead cross-functional teams to address business issues.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Extensive knowledge of business analysis concepts, processes, and tools.Strong technical skills and the ability to present proposals effectively.Proficient in planning and executing typical assignments within the professional domain.Ability to build effective relationships across the organization and train others in best practices.Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field (Master's preferred).Experience: Minimum of five years in Information Systems, focusing on business process analysis, redesign, and requirement gathering for technical teams.
