Mainframe Production Support Analyst

Job Title:Mainframe Production Support Analyst Duration: 12 months (contract) Location: Wethersfield, CT ( Remote (EST Hours)) Key Skills: Mainframe application support, troubleshooting, documentation, data cleansing, modernization processes. Job Description: The primary goal of this role is to ensure the production support of the mainframe system. The successful candidate will maintain high availability and functionality of mainframe applications to meet business needs, minimize downtime, and provide timely issue remediation. Key responsibilities include logging and resolving system disruptions while documenting known issues and supporting ad-hoc reporting needs for business stakeholders. Resources will be provided to troubleshoot and address alarms over the 12-month contract. Qualifications: Proven experience in mainframe application support and maintenance. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent documentation and communication abilities. Familiarity with data cleansing and modernization processes. Scope of Work: This role will backfill for a key resource to assist with maintaining business continuity for the mainframe licensing system. The contractor will deliver all necessary goods and services to accomplish the project objectives as outlined below: Job Deliverables: Maintenance/Production Issues: Maintain the quality of system functions, processing, and reporting for end users. Documentation: Assist in documenting current workflows, data quality, and conversion rules for the new system. Modernization: Assist in identifying practical solutions to business and programming challenges during the Driver Services conversion. Data Cleansing: Address issues related to CT300 licenses, registration suspensions, public acts, etc. Criteria for Completion: All deliverables are subject to peer review, supervisor approval, and business acceptance prior to final approval.
