Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking an Adobe AEM Sites Developer to join their team. As a an AEM Developer you will be involved in modernizing development capabilities in the web applications area. Candidates must have strong skills in Adobe Experience Manager, multi-tenant, and be able to mentor other employees in AEM.

What's the Job?Collaborate with UX/UI designers and stakeholders to design and develop AEM components, templates, and workflows that meet project requirementsCustomize and extend AEM functionality using technologies like Java, HTL (HTML Template Language), and JavaScriptIntegrate AEM with various third-party systems and platforms using APIs and other integration methodsConfigure AEM settings, permissions, and workflows based on project needs and best practicesAssist in content migration and authoring, ensuring seamless transition and adherence to content guidelines and best practicesOptimize AEM performance by identifying and addressing bottlenecks, improving code efficiency, and implementing caching strategiesWork closely with cross-functional teams, including front-end and back-end developers, to ensure a cohesive and efficient implementation of digital solutionsProvide technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to team members and stakeholdersPerform pre-release code reviews and quality assurance activities to ensure code meets established standards, project requirements and does not conflict with existing code in the multi-tenant AEM environment.What's Needed?
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)5+ years of experience as a front and back-end web developer3+ years' experience working in an Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Sites multi-tenant environmentProven experience as an AEM Developer, including custom component development and integration with AEM platformStrong proficiency in Java, HTL, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies used in AEM developmentFamiliarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React) and their integration with AEMExperience with AEM Core Components and AEM Touch UI developmentKnowledge of AEM administration, including user permissions, configurations, and system maintenanceUnderstanding of software development methodologies, version control systems, and CI/CD processesExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersExperience in creating and maintaining integrations between AEM and external systems like Salesforce, Siemens Teamcenter, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Rollick, Microsoft SharePoint, and others.Experience Configuring Google Analytics 4 to capture meaningful metrics and event-based data from AEM websites.
