ASG Sr. Solutions Architect - Network & Security at SHI in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description Job Summary The ASG Sr. Solutions Architect - Network & Security will analyze, design Network, Security, Data Center and/or Collaboration services and related solutions for our company's end customers and partners, in additionserving as a team guide and technical lead in installing, configuring and upgrading services within our customers' and partners environments. Responsibilities Include but not limited to: + Performs design and implementation work that may include architecture analysis and design, system migration and systems engineering. + Develops technical roadmaps for future Cisco, Palo Alto or Fortinet implementations + Develops business case analysis on potential projects + Serve as the technical lead and subject matter expert on projects and workshops, overseeing the work of other project team members and being accountable for the outcome of the project + Document best practices and delivery guidance to delivery team + Collaborate with sales team in identifying and closing opportunities through customer discovery and scoping meetings and presentations + Plan, manage, and troubleshoot complex customer environments, deployments, and migrations + Collect, produce and update deployment and design documentation for customer and partner engagements + Assist sales team in identifying and closing opportunities through customer meetings and presentations + Participate in pre-sales conversations, design, planning of services engagements + Stay up to date and on top of top industry trends and offerings + Evangelize SHI Cisco, Palo Alto or Fortinet capabilities across SHI and Partner community through webinars, meetups, and conferences + Provide technical leadership and mentorship in a pre-sales and post-sales capacity to support successful understanding, evaluation and adoption of Cisco, Palo Alto or Fortinet offerings + Demonstrate long term thinking as it relates to our Cisco, Palo Alto and Fortinet practice and customer engagements + Serve as a mentor and provide guidance to other architects and consultants within the team Qualifications + Completed Bachelor's, Technical degree or related work experience in Computer Engineering or a related field + Minimum 8-10 years of technical experience with increasing responsibility + Minimum 7 years' experience designing implementing and integrating Cisco, Palo Alto or Fortinet technology + Minimum 7 years' experience working with and deploying Cisco, Palo Alto or Fortinet technology Required Skills + Proficiency with the design, implementation and support of Cisco, Palo Alto or Fortinet solutions + Strong project time management and communication skills + Consultative approach to deploying enterprise architecture + Passion for technology + Expert and timely decision-making skills + Strong written, presentation and verbal communication skills + Excellent organizational and time management skills + Strong troubleshooting skills + Drive to learn and deploy new technology + Receptive listening skills, with ability to present ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences + Ability to travel to client sites upon reasonable request + Excellent presentation and white boarding skills + Passionate about learning new technologies and making customers successful + Ability to communicate effectively and comfortably to all levels of the IT chain of command including directors, managers, architects and consultants + Strong mentorship skills + Excellent consultative skills + Ability to guide other consultants within the team Certifications Required + Cisco - CCNA, CCNP, CCIE + Palo Alto - PCNSE, PCNSC + Fortinet - NSE4 or higher Unique Requirements + Position may require up to 20% travel to clientlocations? + Extended hours arerequiredto complete some specialprojects? Additional Information + The estimated annual pay range for this position is $160,000 - $250,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
