Onsite Data Center Solutions Architect Onsite Durham NC Deliverables: Thorough knowledge of VMWare Virtual Services delivery environments (ESXi, VMs) VCF Stretch Cluster, vCenter Data Center Services VMware Aria Suite - vRealize Automation, VMware Aria / vRealize Orchestrator, Operations Manager, Log Insight, NSX-T, LCM (Life Cycle Manager) Extensive knowledge of Storage solutions SAN/vSAN/NAS NetApp MetroCluster (Storage Grid, E-Series, Filers) Purse Storage Solutions Thorough knowledge of Data Center Services - AD, DNS, DHCP, RDS, etc. Experience with Containers infrastructure (Kubernetes, Docker, Open-Shift, Tanzu) Solution Architecture, design and deliver highly available, reliable and cost-effective Data Center compute, storage, Automation solutions. Conducted extensive Data Center, Network and Security analysis and risk assessments of all proposed solutions to identify Systems, Network and Security risks/vulnerabilities Obtain requirements from end users, R&D, Application Owners and other IT discipline teams. Able to provide guidance, leadership and technical expertise for all IT Data Center Services initiatives. Solution Architect, Data Center solution and perform POC (Proof of Concept) of new technologies/capabilities, testing and documentation. Create and maintain Enterprise level technical documentation for design, configurations, procedures and test results. Work with IT Teams to create Solution Architectures, Documentation, operational and support procedures before moving forward with POC. Document and review IT Data Center Services policies, procedures and solutions. Promote and lead activities to foster IT Data Center Services new capabilities. Promote and lead activities to foster effective Risk Management awareness, including disaster avoidance, mitigation and remediation.
