Summary

As a Business Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in helping us implement our next generation Data Governance Organization. As a subject matter expert for our data processes, you will assist the Data Governance Lead in designing workflow and process strategies to improve our Master Data Management program, user experience through tighter system integrations, enable higher quality data, and faster analytical insights.

Essential FunctionsCoordinate Large Adjustments - application integration, data integration, and data loading

ERP Implementation: work across business areas to implement data cleansing strategyMonitor and ensure that data processes are aligned with data governance strategy and methodology

Support Formalized Process - data preparation, data stewardship, and data quality

Assist the Data Governance Lead in the implementation of the Data Management Program Operating Model that includes training, coordination with business leads, and related processes & tools for success measurementAssist Data Governance Lead in establishing data standards, definitions, processes, and rules across multiple domains (e.g., product, customer, vendor, location) to ensure the continuous improvement of the quality of the data assetsParticipate in Data Council as subject matter expertDocument key information in data / business catalogue (data flows, data models, enterprise information model, business data glossary, business metadata content, etc.)

Continuous Improvement

Identify patterns, problem areas, and opportunities within the ticketing queue and raise to Data Governance Lead and/or write JIRA stories for actioning by technology teamsAssist Business Support Manager and Data Governance Lead in program change management, training, adoption, issue resolutionAssist with problem determination and resolution efforts when operational issues with integration solutions arise

Business Support Ticket Queue Management

Maintain data governance processes and controls and ensure data qualityCreate and Maintain Equipment Masters and ensure complete data is integrated with Service MaxMaintain/update customer master records in SAP, Sales Force, and Service MaxCreate and maintain customer pricing and discount records and manage expirations with branch teams.Create and maintain contracts in SAP and Service MaxMaintain technician records, certifications, and branch assignmentsMaintain multiple data points and data sets that integrate SAP to Service MaxReview, audit, cleanse, and maintain data for SAP and Service MaxMay develop queries; generate and distribute reports.Maintains appropriate records, files, documentation, etc.Maintain new equipment installation records and warranty activation.Maintain Material Master records for use in business processesMaintain Customer Master records including validating through Dun & BradstreetDuties and tasks are varied, somewhat complex in nature and performed under minimal supervision following standard procedures.

Education and/or Experience

3+ years of SAP S4 / ERP experienceExperience with Salesforce / ServiceMax CRM PlatformExperience with troubleshooting and managing system integrations, specifically S4 to ServiceMaxCollects and researches data; Uses intuition and experience to complement data.Pursues training and development opportunities; Strives to continuously build knowledge and skills; Shares expertise with others.Responds promptly to customer needs; Responds to requests for service and assistance; Meets commitments.Adheres to cost saving measures.Follows policies and procedures; Completes administrative tasks correctly and on time; Supports organization's goals and values.Experiences with problem solving via data analysis including suggesting, implementing, and tracking process improvements.Highly organized and detail orientedCan effectively self-manage.
