IT Technician- GIS and DBA Analyst

We need help analyzing spatial data, creating maps, help us maintain the database and IT infrastructure.
GIS Analysis:•Analyze spatial data to support decision-making processes.•Create and maintain GIS maps, layers, and geodatabases.•Conduct spatial analyses and modeling to identify trends and patterns.•Collaborate with teams to integrate GIS data into various projects.
Database Administration:•Design, implement, and maintain database systems to ensure data integrity and security.•Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize queries.•Develop and enforce data management policies and procedures.•Conduct regular data backups and recovery operations.
IT Support:•Provide technical support for hardware and software issues across the organization.•Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment, including servers, networks, and workstations.•Ensure network security and monitor for potential vulnerabilities.•Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures.

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelors degree in Geography, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in GIS mapping
2+ years in ArcGIS
2+ years in database management systems
2+ years in SQL Server
PostgreSQL
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, R) for data processing and automation is a plus
