System Administrator
to provide support for systems critical to the sustainment of the Enterprise Logistics Readiness Portfolio, encompassing the Cargo and Personnel Movement (CPM) Systems. In this role, you'll manage and optimize our network systems, ensuring smooth and efficient operations across the board. Key Responsibilities
Manage and optimize IT infrastructure Oversee and maintain system performance, including servers, networks, and applications; troubleshoot and resolve technical issues; implement updates and patches; and ensure system security and reliability. Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and may perform necessary maintenance to support network availability. Troubleshoots and resolves issues with development (in Cloud One), and integration, test, and production environments (in DISA Data Center). Monitors and tracks system performance and utilization in production and supporting environments. Understands and supports CPM interfaces, including web services. May administer necessary system security measures. Assist with SDC testing and troubleshooting. Supports development of architecture views for compliance with BEA, NDAA, DoDAF. Requirements
Required years of experience as detailed below. General work experience may be substituted for education. Journeyman level : High School Diploma or GED + years of experience or BS + 4 years, or Master's + 1 year. Certifications: (451) System Administrator-Basic per DoD 8140.03M. Experience with the following tools or equivalent: TFS, Jira, Confluence, BitBucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Docker and other DevSecOps tools across all phases, Checkmarx, SonarQube, Microsoft Office Suite. Proven experience in a systems administration role, managing and maintaining IT infrastructure. Strong troubleshooting abilities for diagnosing and resolving system and network issues. Understanding of security practices and protocols to safeguard system integrity and data. Effective communication skills for interacting with team members and end-users, and documenting system configurations and procedures. High level of accuracy in configuring and managing systems to ensure operational efficiency and reliability. Must have the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance. US Citizenship is Required. #techflow
