Tygart is currently seeking a
Senior System Administrator
to support a Department of Justice (DOJ) component. This is a remote position with some travel to WV.
This position requires a current Secret Security clearance.
ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems.System administrator will ensure the uptime, performance, resources, and security of the computers they manage meet the needs of the users.Primary responsibility is the operations and maintenance of the legacy NCIC mainframe (IBM z14) infrastructure, compute, and storage platform.Installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and maintenance of zOS operating system, CICS, DB2 Relational Database Management System, IBM Products and Utilities, CA/Broadcom tools, BMC Product Suite.System monitoring and reporting.Performance monitoring, analysis and tuning.Pervasive Encryption.Requirements
Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of related work experience.Active Secret Security clearance.Experience with IBM z 14Experience with CICS requiredExperience with zOS operating system, DB2 Relational Database Management System, IBMProducts and Utilities, CA/Broadcom tools, BMC Product Suite, preferred
