Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas offers excellent competitive compensation with the goal of retaining and growing talented team members. The salary range for this role is a good faith estimate, it is estimated based on what a successful candidate might be paid. All offers presented to candidates are carefully reviewed to ensure fair, equitable pay by offering competitive salaries that align with the individual's skills, education, experience, and training. The range may vary above or below the stated amounts.What you'll do
Building new applications and enhancing existing onesBuilding and maintaining Restful servicesWriting well designed, testable, efficient codeDesigning and developing back-end services as well as front-end user interfacesUtilizing software development tools to develop, test, debug, and deploy quality softwareParticipating in code reviewsWhat you need
High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's Degree or completion of a Computer Science Program from a Technical Trade School preferred. Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, is preferred.Experience building applications/services using Java is requiredMinimum of 5 years' experience in application development is requiredBonus if you have
Experience with client side frameworks is preferred.Familiarity with developing mobile applicationsFamiliarity with JavaScript frameworks like VueBenefits & Perks
