As a Senior Solutions Architect, the primary purpose of the role is to collaborate closely with a diverse team of interdisciplinary scientists, IT, and engineering professionals within the organization to tackle critical challenges and address pivotal queries that influence essential business decisions. This role is instrumental in nurturing groundbreaking ideas that lead to developing advanced, intelligent optimization solutions.
The overarching goal is to drive successful business outcomes for a wide range of customers by harnessing a passion for education, training, and the design and deployment of cloud-hosted Generative AI solutions. In this capacity, Individual will leverage cutting-edge machine learning and generative AI tools, including SageMaker and Vertex AI, among others, to architect, promote, and execute innovative solutions for complex problems that have not been addressed before.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of this role, Sr Staff Data Engineer, are to:Lead and participate in design sessions with Enterprise and Hub Data Stewards, Engineering teams, Data Scientists, Product Managers, business and IT stakeholders, that result in documentation for data processing, storage and delivery solutions;Understand business capability needs and processes as they relate to IT solutions through partnering with Product Managers and business and functional IT stakeholders, and apply this knowledge to influence business goals;Initiate and lead evaluation of new technologies, including GenAI, LLMs, performing POCs and presenting results to others, with a goal of providing technical recommendations;Implement data solutions according to design documentation using a variety of tools and programming languages, like Kafka, SQL and non-SQL databases, Scala, Go etc., and following team's established processes and methodologies;Present on various technical topics to internal and external audiences, for example at national and international technical conferencesEffectively discuss work, provide details and influence the right level of audience: senior leadership, business partners, data scientists, engineering teams etc.;Create and maintain design and code documentation in GitHub, Haystack, SharePoint and/or another repositories used by the team.WHO YOU ARE

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; Additional 3 years of relevant experience is an acceptable substitute for the degree requirementEducation or applied experience in at least one of the following: Computer Science, Cloud Architectures, Machine Learning Model Deployment, Data Engineering;Strong proficiency in at least one big cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP);Strong proficiency with at least one Infrastructure-as-code tools: Cloud Formation, Terraform, Pulumi, or CDK;Proficiency with at least one scripting or programming language: Python, Bash, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Java.Demonstrate understanding of network concepts and network security;Demonstrate understanding of software development best practices (Version Control, Code Documentation and Review, and Database Management);Strong communication skills and ability to deliver complex technical architectures in a clear, concise, and actionable manner to stakeholders.Preferred Qualifications:
10+ years professional software engineering experience.
