Job Summary

The

IT Business Systems Analyst III

should be knowledgeable of student recruiting/retention platform functionality, integration, setup, best practices, and reporting while also providing professional/development training and customer service and support to end users. This position will ensure that the KCTCS recruitment and retention platforms are leveraged to their fullest extent at all 16 colleges of KCTCS through a continuous improvement model of both staff/faculty training and system administration. Should KCTCS sunset or contract replacement software, the incumbent will be heavily involved in the sunsetting and data storage requirements of legacy systems, as well as the development and implementation of new systems while ensuring a smooth transition for staff, faculty, and student end users. The success of the position will be measured in faculty staff/adoption and utilization of the KCTCS recruitment and retention systems and the impact on student success outcomes that these systems have.

This is a defined-term contract position renewable each fiscal year and located in Versailles, KY.

KCTCS offers a hybrid work schedule with a requirement to be onsite a minimum of 3 days per work week. Hybrid work schedules are subject to periodic review and may be modified or terminated at any time.

Job Duties:

Provides administrative oversight of the recruitment and retention technology systems for the 16 colleges and system office and supports functional and strategic training for staff and faculty on software utilization to properly leverage automation/scalability and improve student success outcomes.

Supports Help Desk requests for the design and launch of college communication campaigns across systems and evaluate end-user requests for enhancements to integrations, troubleshoot errors/issues, and coordinate with appropriate personnel and vendors to implement needed updates in the integration and/or functionality of the software.

Coordinates with ORPA and DSS, technology solutions, web services, and marketing to provide real-time reporting of actionable data and on functionality and utilization of recruitment and retention systems.

Supports efforts to sunset any legacy software and the design, delivery, and implementation of any new recruitment and retention software acquired by KCTCS.

Responsible for reviewing the system setup tables and the daily integration processing, reconciliation processes to correct dropped interfaced records and minimize duplicate records, and oversite of security and maintenance tasks within the recruitment and retention software.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Education, Business or Marketing and three (3) years of relevant experience or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Education, Business or Marketing and five (5) years of relevant experience or equivalent.

Additional Skills Requested:

Prior experience managing recruitment and retention systems. Familiarity with the dynamics of working within a system.
