Responsible for leading a team dedicated to ensuring that our products are tested to meet regulatory and industry standards. This pivotal role requires meticulous attention to detail, a deep understanding of certification processes, and exceptional leadership skills to guide the validation team effectively. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure products undergo rigorous testing, validation, and compliance procedures, ultimately obtaining necessary certifications for market release.

Essential Job Functions

Demonstrates SoundOff Signal's Core Values in daily interactions with internal and external customers.Lead a team of validation engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement to achieve departmental goals.Manage workload distribution, resource allocation, and project timelines to ensure efficient operation of the validation lab.Develop and implement validation strategies aligned with product development timelines and regulatory requirements.Stay abreast of relevant regulatory standards, industry guidelines, and certification requirements applicable to our products.Interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into actionable validation plans and protocols.Design, execute, and oversee validation testing protocols, including performance testing, reliability testing, and environmental testing.Ensure accurate documentation of validation activities, including test protocols, reports, and compliance documentation.Review and analyze validation data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including PD, Quality and manufacturing, to drive alignment on validation objectives and priorities.Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on validation status, project milestones, and regulatory compliance issues.Collaborate with product development teams to integrate validation activities seamlessly into the product lifecycle, from concept to commercialization.Plan and prioritize validation projects based on risk assessment, resource availability, and business objectives.Able to perform job consistently and without excessive absenteeism or tardiness.Other duties as assigned.Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in science or technology field. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.5+ years of experience in validation with 2+ years of experience in supervising a lab.Proven experience in product validation or quality assurance, within a manufacturing or product development environment.In-depth knowledge of regulatory standards and certification processes relevant to the industry preferred.Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team of professionals.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and levels of the organization.Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy, precision, and compliance.Analytical problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.Experience working with validation testing equipment and methodologies is desirable.Strong customer orientation, with proven customer relations track record.Proficiency of the basic Microsoft software packages including Word and Excel.Physical Requirements

Able to lift up to 35 lbs.Able to stand, sit, walk, bend, twist, rotate, and/or reach throughout an entire shift.Must be able to accurately handle and assemble small parts.Working Conditions

Salary Description

$100,000 / $125,000 based on experience
